Uhm, I guess that's not what I wanted to say, at least not in the
general sense. But still, it depends on the number of volunteers and the
involved money. In Vienna's case, that's one or two people with no time
vs. an "aggressive" startup.
But in general, I don't think domm's assertion
is true.
Well, I miss-phrased my assertion. What I meant was "Usually a group of
people who get paid for their job do better then one or two volunteers
with no significant time (actually, no time at all...) to spend on the
project."
But still, too bad that it didn't work out for Vienna, and it definitly
wasn't the fault of the software...
