My interest in this is mostly along the lines of "if I can make my
thing talk to your thing without much trouble on my part or yours,
then I'd like to". I know we can always say "hey, just grab our
RDF/XML and extract the data yourself", but that's yet another step
that someone has to take in order to cooperate with us. I think we
should be trying to make it easier for other people to cooperate with
us, where we can do that without making any major changes or locking
ourselves into a single way of doing things.
