I am a complete newbie to this list, however my introduction was 2 of the developers, who 'insisted' that GPS location was central to their plans, it certainly is to ours: helping people with severe learning difficulties travel independently. They can't read. So a howto setup GPS (on a linux pda) would seem to be very useful. please email me on or off list.
