I was thinking because of how big Greater London should it be divided into boroughs?

I'll leave it for the admins of the Randomness guide to answer if they feel inclined, but london.openguides.org is not going to have any more development on it - it's being wound down.

Can you be more specific about the problem you think this would solve? Are you having trouble finding things on RGL?
We've previously discussed the idea of having a separate metadata field to put the London borough in, but OpenGuides doesn't currently support custom metadata.

Kate I am not having any problems but in the long run it might be a good idea if the site gets bigger as someone leaving in Kensington may not want a listing of pubs in Sutton.

If you want to just list the pubs in Kensington you can use this addon I wrote: http://london.randomness.org.uk/scripts/locate.cgi?loc=Kensington;cat=Pubs;m...
I think the problem you're trying to solve though is that of "find me all the pubs within a certain distance of a certain location". You can do this on RGL with the pub search; for example, all pubs within 1km of High Street Kensington Station: http://london.randomness.org.uk/scripts/pubsearch.cgi?locale=&postal_dis...
I recall from previous correspondence that you're particularly interested in cafes - for cafes you would use the food search: http://london.randomness.org.uk/scripts/foodsearch.cgi?locale=&postal_di...
There isn't a really good way to do this for a general category (I've special-cased pubs and food on RGL). The location search built into OpenGuides can be coerced into it, but it's not a perfect solution as it doesn't let you search by category, you need to know your OS coordinates, and it doesn't do map display.
