I was thinking about the 'maplink' part of the edit form, if OpenGuides can create/get lat/long coords then couldn't it automatically build a map link?
Multimap links are of the form: http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=54.6434&lon=-5.6731&scale...
So all OpenGuides would have to do is glue the numbers into a string, right?
Also, from a usability point of view it might be nice to have the 'find within distance' form as a set of links, it's only a small set of options so it could be a nice wee button arrangement beneath a node title or something - one click instead of two and a half.
