Of a weekend, we can generally get exclusive use of the ground floor bar area until 7:00 pm, when it becomes open to members.
That sounds like a distinct possibility! Were you thinking of holding the hackfest actually in the bar, and then switching from hacking to chatting/drinking when the place filled up after 7pm?
