Hi Just some thoughts You have two breeds of guides 1) well funded with dozens of paid editors and relationships with education and government 2) innovative grass roots initiatives
These grass roots initiatives struggle and often fall by the wayside. However collaboration and connection with other grass roots initiatives help to keep them afloat I would be more than happy to help in keeping the london guide alive, but as the mailing list shows there does not seem to be anybody withing open guides who is free to keep it going.
Hi Paul,
I am free to keep it going. Let me know what can I do.

Well, I think there are loads more types than this, really. If anything, I'd say the most widespread type (at least in London) is the "me too" guide site that essentially just lists the names and addresses of every business in town and provides very little added value - basically just a vehicle for ads and affiliate links. TBH this is what cityultima looks like to me, though I may be missing the point.

What is your particular interest in OGL? Do you have any plans for it other than adding cityultima links to it like you tried to do on RGL?
I would rather see OGL completely shut down than see it turn into a linkfarm.
