First of all I would like to say Thank you for a great software. I would like to setup open guide to my city, which is Jakarta - Indonesia. Right now I am in the process of installing openguides to my server. What do I need to provides? and Is it possible to have a subdomain under openguides, such as jakarta.openguides.org ?

That's really great news. Particularly for me, because I was in Jakarta in July and I loved it. (I was actually thinking at the time that the place really deserves a guide.) Selamat datang di OpenGuides!

Lima puluh sejuta rupiah. :) No, just kidding - the only thing you need to do is run the software. It'd be good if you could subscribe to the developers' mailing list, too, because it's a very good place to ask questions and make suggestions.

It certainly is. If you give me your machine's name or IP address, I can assign you an A record or CNAME straight away.
