As I understood it the Helmert transform we're currently using is more than accurate enough for the OpenGuides application.
It will do, yes. I was mainly concerned about the RDF output, i.e. other people using our geodata for their own purposes, but I don't know if anyone actually _is_, so there's probably no point in putting in effort for extra accuracy at this point.
FWIW I'm planning to make use of the OG geodata in RDF sometime pretty soon, but will only need as much precision as the Guides need, i.e. just enough to show a flag in *roughly* the right location on a Gmap. Not sure if this has any bearing on the situation.
