I think you [1] probably are, but I'm aware Dom's not here to comment at the moment and AIUI everything needs to be approved by him before it'll go into a release.
I'm probably making a fool of myself here: you're all probably aware of this and know much better than me how things are done, but I'd be waring of spending loads of time programming in a direction Dom hasn't indicated will get released.
