A patch has been submitted, but to release it we'll need to bump the Module::Build requirement to v0.26+ as this is when the API was updated, which my patch uses.

This shouldn't be a problem. Make sure that the dependency on Module::Build 0.26 is listed in PREREQUISITES (for humans) and Build.PL (for computers).
