User configurable, yes, but I don't see the reasoning behind making it a guide option. Even if/when we do restructure the install system so users don't get deluged with questions, it still feels wrong.

because as an admin i might know best. eg. my design may look better if i limit you to 5 results (id be an idiot for doing a design like that, but hey)
