OpenGuides can do the first two, but it would be very nice if it could do the third as well.

I have looked at this. I think it would need a change to Wiki::Toolkit::Plugin::Diff to accept the unsaved version of text rather than a saved wiki version.
Also I was wondering what would happen to the metadata - would the new version (at this point) have the same set of metadata as the saved version. If not this might appear to be an erroneous difference.
All in all, an interesting change but not for me at this time.
