The RSS facility on London openguides is great when it works but from time to time produces XML that Thunderbird doesnt like. I havnt managed to pin down what is upsetting it but there something wrong on Fri 9 /12 ( We got the "Sites about London" and "Little Venice" but nothing latter that day).

What I am inclined to do is run a cron job that gets a snapshot of the RSS every hour - I suspect there is the odd item that is generating "unusual" XML but once that one has wrapped of the bottom it starts working again.

BTW - does the RSS always give the the last 15 items. or the items in a particular time period.
