I've done the Victoria line with some jpegs. Could you take a look and make sure it renders OK on different browsers.

Yes, I agree - but the main thing was to get the line effect working
correctly, and I think that's worth using (at least for the simple
lines like H&C and Victoria)...

So, he's using GIFs in the table to do the tube line effect. I like
the look of this, but I think that having the names of the stops inside
the images is wrong - these should be text.
I may put together the "Lego bricks" that can make up a tube line,
when I get a spare moment at home. I'll need to make these in all the
colours that a tube line comes in. Ho hum.

A friend of mine did something similar a few years ago for a pub crawl;
I very much like the look of it. It's at
http://www.mesklin.demon.co.uk/beer/hccrawl.html, and he says:

(The actual pub crawl data are of course sadly outdated now.)
Roger
I've added a table with all the stops, to the page "Victoria Line". I am thinking about ways to prettify it, and would like feedback from others.
Earle: any chance you could provide up and down arrows similar to your left and right ones.
Ivor.
When I hit 'preview' I get this message:
"Someone has committed changes to this node since you began editing. You
will need to manually merge your changes into the new version."
If I then hit Save I get an error message:
Search::InvertedIndex::remove_index_from_group() - Corrupted database.
Unable to find 'ged_000000000000_c_000000000e41' record at
/home/earle/downlode.org/perl/lib/CGI/Wiki/Search/SII.pm line 204
How do I 'manually merge'?
