This is an excellent free house always featuring Fullers beers and several interesting and well kept guest beers. Food is good and the range of bottled continental beers (especially) Belgium is excellent. Add in a friendly warm welcome, separate bars including quiet areas, a warm fire and a fish tank and you can see why this fine establishment won. All SPBW Members are welcome to attend the presentation which will be on Monday January 24th at 7.30 PM. Recent years events at the Royal Oak (2004) & The Wenlock (2003), have been very successful social evenings.
