Since we didn't manage the second summer hackfest, how about an winter one?
For me this would have to be next year; the rest of this year (weekends) are basically full up.
Venue yet to be determined, format to be about the same as the previous one.
If you're interested in coming, visit Meetomatic and tell me when (you can put in the comments whether you have a preferred location - likely to be London or Oxford) http://www.meetomatic.com/respond.php?id=BFMEDF
Cheers,
Dominic.

I'm interested, but it's a bit too far ahead for me to say when I can definitely manage. I know I can't do the 19th of January, but Meet-O-Matic only lets me say when I can come, not when I can't.

I agree with Kake that it is a little far of to say for sure, and saying when you _can't_ make it is more useful at this stage.
I use Google calendar and would be happy to publish free/busy info to people on this list. Would anyone else be willing to do this (or create a GC to represent their free/busy weekends in early jan)
Not seen Meet-O-Matic before - looks useful for arranging some sorts of meet up (A - can make Tuesday, B - can make Wednesday). Does it let you change your answer once you have made it - if something new comes up.

Google Calendar requires having a Google account, and the associated overhead. The idea of Meet-O-Matic is that it doesn't require any registration and therefore should be easier.

Yes, if you enter your name the same as before.
As it happens, noone filled in the meetomatic when I posted it; is it close enough to next year to do so now? If so, it's still there at

I've ticked all the dates that I'm not already definitely busy on, but I can't guarantee I'm going to remember to go back and alter it if I become busy on a new date - so please don't take my ticks as guaranteed. Probably best to check with me when it gets to the stage of actually picking a date.
