Good question.  Do you mean that you're checking the RSS feed manually
before you delete the spam?  Or do you mean that you're checking the
RSS feed on everywhere.openguides.org?  If the latter, then the answer
is that you're deleting the spam fast enough that the (hourly?) scrape
of the RSS feeds never has a chance to see it.
