I agree with Kake that it is a little far of to say for sure, and saying 
when you _can't_ make it is more useful at this stage.

I use Google calendar and would be happy to publish free/busy info to 
people on this list.  Would anyone else be willing to do this (or create 
a GC to represent their free/busy weekends in early jan)

Not seen Meet-O-Matic before - looks useful for arranging some sorts of 
meet up (A - can make Tuesday, B - can make Wednesday). Does it let you 
change your answer once you have made it - if something new comes up.
