You're absolutely right in the current version of the software.

I was speaking specifically about the guide that was under discussion at
the start of the thread, the Open Guide to Boston.

That's an example of malformed XML (and therefore invalid RDF) being
served by that guide.

But no other guide will serve malformed XML: Just mine :)
