Sounds good to me!  Have added Trac tickets for both my suggestion and yours.

Relatedly, I'm currently working on a complete redoing of the edit page -
I'm moving everything into <div>s and getting rid of the tables.  This will
make it much easier for people to style the page as they prefer.
